Megan Kunisch is a seasoned video editor with 20+ years of experience in broadcast and 18 years in post-production, specializing in live sports, documentary storytelling, and digital content. Currently based in Los Angeles, she is a Video Editor at the World Surf League (WSL), where she crafts compelling visual narratives for live event broadcasts, studio productions, and original series, including the documentary Tahiti Bound.

Megan earned her BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Driven by her love for the ocean and storytelling, she relocated from NYC to Hawaii, where she spent seven years as a surf photographer, capturing the world’s best surfers in action. Her time behind the lens, combined with her deep understanding of surf culture and competitive sports, gives her a unique editorial perspective—one that blends artistic vision with high-energy sports cinematography.

Her career spans a range of top-tier media companies, including Showtime Networks, The Wall Street Journal, Tennis Channel, and Billabong. Whether cutting high-impact event highlights, crafting engaging athlete profiles, or shaping long-form documentaries, Megan brings an expert-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro, an eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling that resonates across platforms.
