Tahiti to Trestles is an immersive World Surf League (WSL) documentary series that takes viewers on a journey through the dramatic final leg of the 2024 WSL Championship Tour. Airing on NBC and Peacock, this broadcast delivers an inside look at the world’s best surfers as they navigate the intense waves of Teahupoʻo, Tahiti, and battle their way to the WSL Finals at Lower Trestles, California.
Through stunning cinematography and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, the series captures the raw power of Tahiti’s legendary waves, the high-stakes drama of the title race, and the personal stories of athletes pushing their limits for a shot at world championship glory.
As a video editor on this project, I helped craft a compelling narrative that brings the intensity, beauty, and emotion of professional surfing to audiences worldwide.

WSL Big Wave, TUDOR Nazaré Big Wave Challenge: Video Editor
In 2024, I traveled to Nazaré, Portugal, to edit event highlights on-site for the live World Surf League broadcast, capturing the action and drama of one of the world's most awe-inspiring big wave events.
After a two-year hiatus, the WSL Big Wave Tour returned in spectacular fashion as the TUDOR Nazaré Big Wave Challenge kicked off in pristine conditions. In the heart of Nazaré, Portugal—home to the biggest waves on Earth—surfing’s elite charged massive swells, showcasing the critical teamwork required to conquer one of the most extreme arenas in the sport.
In this unique tow-surfing challenge, two-person teams—featuring both men and women—take turns riding and driving the jet ski, navigating some of the most jaw-dropping waves ever attempted.
The WSL Big Wave season is where boundaries are shattered and history is made. At Nazaré, these athletes push the limits of what’s possible, risking it all for the ride of a lifetime.

WSL | Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay: Video Editor
Through the Marriott Bonvoy Good Travel Project, the Momi Bay Marriott Resort in Fiji is leading the way in eco-conscious hospitality, inviting guests to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the beauty of the South Pacific.
This initiative focuses on coral restoration and marine conservation, including the creation of fish house habitats—artificial reef structures designed to support marine life and rebuild fragile coral ecosystems. Guests have the unique opportunity to participate hands-on, contributing to the preservation of Fiji’s breathtaking underwater world.
As the video editor for this project, I had the privilege of bringing this story to life—showcasing the harmony between luxury travel and sustainability and highlighting the positive impact guests can make.
More than just a stay, this experience allows travelers to give back to the Fijian ecosystem, fostering a deeper connection between adventure and conservation.
WSL | The Pro Guarding Team, Fiji Board Riders Clubs, Water Safety Program: Video Editor
In the lead-up to the 2024 Fiji Corona Open, the World Surf League partnered with the Austalian based, Pro Guarding Team to host a free water safety and medical training program for local Fijian boardriders clubs. This initiative aimed to equip local surfers with lifesaving skills, ensuring they can safely navigate the powerful waves of Fiji while supporting their surf community.
As the video editor for this project, I had the privilege of capturing the dedication and passion behind this program—highlighting the importance of ocean safety, first aid training, and community resilience in one of the world's most iconic surf destinations.
By empowering the next generation of Fijian surfers with essential water safety knowledge, this program strengthens the local surf culture and reinforces the deep connection between surfing, community, and stewardship of the ocean.
Watch how these surfers are learning to protect both themselves and each other—because in Fiji, the waves are big, but the spirit of the community is even bigger.

The surfer was severely injured on a surf trip to Morocco with fellow surfers Koa Smith and Luke Davis in February 2020, and had to battle for his life while trying to get back home as international borders started to shut down due to the pandemic.
